Roel Westland wordt ingedeeld bij een rechercheteam dat als taak heeft de overval op Prepaid B.V. op te lossen. Daarbij werd een groot aantal telefoonkaarten buitgemaakt en gedroegen de overvallers zich bijzonder gewelddadig. Toen ze door de politie achtervolgd werden, raakten Roel en zijn collega zelfs betrokken bij een schietpartij…
Het rechercheteam zit als snel op een spoor naar de drie daders, maar die hebben veel ervaring op het criminele pad en zijn hun belagers steeds te slim af; ze lijken in het niets te zijn verdwenen. Maar dan keren de kansen en slaagt Roel erin de gevaarlijkste van het stel – letterlijk – in de kraag te vatten!

My Story:
This sequel is different than the previous books. But not just ordinary different. In my view it was at a few points different. The book makes a jump in the timelife of Roel Westland. There is a big and important event on the schedule. But this leap in time is not unexpected and is comes very quietly and slowly through the beginning of the book. The adventure Roel Westland experience this time as a policeman; it takes place almost continuously in sequence. He does not come home much – compared to the previous books – and all the events also take place in a relatively short timeframe. Therefore, the book reads nice and smooth. But I wonder whether, if in the previous editions – I have read the 3rd edition – also striking word errors occurred. So there is a mistake where it says ‘Roel’ instead of “Vincent” according to the context. That name confusion I find remarkable. And here and there is sometimes a forgotten word or a misspelling. In other books I found this much less. Therefore, my review of this book is also slightly lower. The story is good, reading really fine! That spelling and grammatical errors that struck me.
