I hope you like the book too. It is worth to read it! I am not telling about the story too much– never do in my book reviews – you have to read the book yourself and make your own opinion.

In my view…

The fourth book of the thriller series around the famous cop television series called ‘Flikken Maastricht’. And as far as I know this is the last sequel of the series.

The story of this sequel is about a fire that breaks out in a monumental villa and the people who lived in the house were acquaintances of the past of Eva van Dongen, on of the detectives. You expect that the story will be really exciting again. But in my opinion the first half is a bit slow and then it speeds up and action is around the corner. This book is more emotionally focused.

Sadly when the book speeds up I discovered in the second half some grammar and word mistakes. I discovered three major mistakes and that is a bit too much.

The story itself is good though. I explained in my previous review of this series already about the characters, the other detective Floris Wolfs. You can read about the previous reviews here –> Flikken Maastricht | Blowfish – Kees Vroege and Flikken Maastricht | Stalked – Claudia van der Sluis

Enjoy reading and watching the series!
