#100DaysOfReading
This challenge is a well known challenge in the series of #100DaysOfX challenges. Many people in the bookcommunity have heard about it, sometimes participated in it, and are hosting also often their own “[numberofdays][reading]” challenges or “[time/theme based][readathon]”s. The #100DaysOfX challenges exists for circa 2,5 years now. And because I am studying Software Engineering and love to expand my knowledge in this field, it is already a daily task to learn or read something about the topics in this field.
My #100DaysOfReading challenge
The hashtag #100DaysOfReading is a challenge to read, at least an hour a day, about – the theory behind or usage of – code. Topics related to and in addition to my other challenges: #100DaysOfCode and #100DaysOfSoftwareEngineering. The blog posts about those challenged can be found at my other blog ‘Sophie’s Tech‘.
The goal is to read an hour a day and after finishing a book I will write a book review. The goal is not to read a certain amount of pages every day, but to read at least an hour a day and learn something from it to use for the bite sized blog posts.
How does it work?
If you would like, you can follow my Goodreads @sophievda and/or Twitter @sophiesvdablog to see my updates about the #100DaysOfReading challenge. I chose to share my progress there and the results of every topic will be found here on the blog in those bite sized blog posts. This challenge is part of the #100DaysOfX Challenges and this challenge can be an example to change your life by improving your habit in (self)learning something related to a study.

Besides Twitter and this blog, there is also my other blog ‘Sophie’s Tech‘ where I will write about the #100DaysOfCode challenge and the #100DaysOfSoftwareEngineering challenge. And share bits of code and topics I’ve learnt about in bite sized blog posts.
Three Challenges
To summarise it all: Yes I am attending three challenges at the same time, for the same duration, with the same sharing goal: Gaining knowledge to practice, to build a portfolio to show and to write to explain what’s been built and learnt.

Ask the reader
My question to you today is:
Do you like to read books for selfstudy in a topic?
Have a nice day!
