Life of an IT student | November 2019 and my birthday!

Hi readers,

In the middle of autumn is the month november. Now and then rainy, another day sunny or even nearly winters snowy. In my blog Life as an IT student | Graduation Internship Thesis Road Update I have written about my thesis internship so far. This blog post will be about every else besides the internship during the month November 2019.

In the beginning of the month I visited the IT & Security exhibtion and congress at Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. Also very interesting and some similarities in subjects I had in study and some views on upcoming trends. And during that week were also some family birthdays.

A couple of days later it was 11th of 11th month. A period from November’s “All Souls Day” to “Remembrance Day”. Days for commemoration. I gathered five quotes to remember, lest we forget.

Halfway the month I photographed the city of Rotterdam during a late afternoon – early evening walk. Even the Ocean Cleanup ship lay ashore in the Leuvehaven in Rotterdam. It was beaufitul enlightend between the lights of the little harbor. A photo on Instagram by another photographer to give an idea:

A colleague also gave a little workshop about 3D printing and all facts about how to start, which material and his own experiences of the last couple of years. Very interesting and if I wasn’t a student I would invest in this to create a new kind of art or to design things that come in handy like a wire box or plant vase (I have got two 3D designed and printed plant vases).

Later that week I went a weekend away with my best friend and her dog. A real break halfway the internship. It was a cold weekend but we stayed in a lovely wooden cabin a few yards from the woods. We walked a lot and I practices photography of the woods meanwhile.

The end of the month I had now and then a social event in the weekend and the last day was my birthday! We had a lovely family trip to Oberhausen, Germany. For a bit birthday shopping and the Christmas markets with it’s Glühwein and delicate Christmas food. It was a lovely birthday!

How has been your month of November 2019?

Greetings by Sophie
