[…] Bookreview overview […]
I really like that you take into account that everyone has a different taste in books and that a one-star review just means it wasn’t the book for you. However, I don’t totally agree with you that there are no bad books, because for example a book can be written badly. Grammar errors or just constantly using the same words (which makes it repetitive and harder to read) I think these things are technical and some books just are written better than others. But other than that I think you are right and a lot of it is personal. Next to that, books are written for different purposes. A chicklit isn’t meant to be full of action or suspense, it is meant to be a fun book and sometimes I think people forget to take that into account while reviewing a book. Well this comment turned out longer than I meant, but oh well 😛
Thank you Jacoline for your opinion! I really appreciate it!
I left out the ratings for now in this list. To make – the growing list of bookreviews – a bit more organizesd. Maybe I add another page where I sort the books by rating instead of by author. I take your comment into account to explain my rating better. Thank you again!
