Seepje is a natural soap – or detergent – that already existed in nature for ages. It is a little ball that releases in a natural way it’s soap to shaking water. But not everything at once! You can use a little ball up to three times and then its natural soap material is completely empty and you can throw the little ball away.

What is this little ball?

This little ball they use is the Nepalese fruit Sapindus Mukorossi. These fruits grow at the Nepalese Sapindus trees and the peels are harvest from the wild. Organically they say – I don’t know how that precisely works – but there are more benefits such as those trees are now saved for their fruits and peels and not used as firewood. So they save a little forest as well! Farming those peels and caring for the trees and their fruits is a real job in Nepal. There are “peelfarmers”. I have never imagined that before but that is probably because I grew up in a total different area and still have to discover many things of the world.

One I heard from a shopadvisor that everything elastic you shouldn’t wash with a softener…only the normal soap because a softener ‘eats’ your elastics slowly. Seepje does not have this effect. Seepje is a natural organic lovely soap!
