The Halloween 2020 Overview

This weekend it is Halloween and for this year Halloween 2020 on my blog, I chose to write a couple of little blog posts surrounding this theme. In my Halloween post of 2017 – ‘Happy Halloween 2017‘ – I have explained what the etymology of the festival is. For this year 2020 Halloween on my blog, I choose to write a couple of little blog posts surrounding this theme.

So for this year you can find on my blog:

If you like being creative now and then and love to (try) make some decorations for at home: take a look at the Halloween Decorations blog post. Or if you love to write and draw or create themed base months: take a look at the Halloween Bulletjournal Spreads blog post. If you love to bake with your family and share some drinks and snacks: take a look at the Halloween Food and Drinks blog post.

I am not a big fan of skulls decorations for Halloween itself, nor spiders, so you won’t find those decorations in my selection of inspiration. The skull decorations belong in my opinion more to the cultural Dia de Los Muertos which is also known in English as ‘All Souls Day’ or ‘Allerzielen’ in Dutch. And that is the 2nd of November and not October 31st.

Furthermore there is beside being creative also much to watch and to read based on the Halloween theme. So if you love to watch films, there is a Halloween Film list with films provided for streaming on demand by Netflix, Disney and Amazon Prime. If you are more a bingewatcher and love to watch a series instead, there is also for that purpose a blog post written with a list of films and series. Last but not least: A day without – or partly without – a screen and with just paper and ink without having to be creative (in action), I have written a blog posts about books you can read during Halloween. Whooohh spooky!

The inspiration lists of what you can create are written in the following blog posts:

Enjoy being creative or watching a film or series or reading a book this weekend.

Have a nice Halloween weekend!
