My first (casual) gaming video is online! 🎥🎮 Can you remember the thoughts about that I mentioned in my previous blog post? My thoughts about my first casual game video I edited and published on YouTube? In this blog post the video with some extra background, the Instagram and pieces of the script attached.
The Thumbnail and the explanation

The console controller icon (game controller, joystick; all those related to gaming) is clear in the top. With this icon I show that the video is related to the gategory of games. Followed by the title of the game ‘Pixel Art’. In full there is the addition of: ‘Coloring Book’. And the subtitle I chose related to the item I pixel painted in the game. Further more you see the logo, name and a photo of myself because it makes it a bit more personal and you see me talking in the video.
Thoughts after publishing first video
It is finally here! After a couple of evenings a couple of hours script writing, filming, preparation for editing, editing itself ánd promoting preparation…. I have created my first casual game walkthrough! A video just published on YouTube and promoted on my social channels. A video I wished to make way earlier but a start is a start. And it is a video that belongs to one of the main categories I want to create visual additions to a review: gaming!

The rules of the vanes
All these mills in The Netherlands have rules on how to position the vanes of the mill in circumstances. It is in fact communication. If you can read the position of the vanes correctly, then you know if the mill is on a long break or a short break, if the family is having a happy occasion or if they are mourning.
The same position of happiness and mourning switch places due to the location of the windmill. A short example: the vane position for happiness in the middle and northern parts of The Netherlands, means mourning in the southern and eastern parts of The Netherlands.
